Active exports to China, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the European Union, reflecting the ability to meet sophisticated buyer expectations.
Raj Fishmeal is not merely a processor of marine raw material. It is a quality-driven nutrition company, positioned within an increasingly demanding global value chain where traceability, certification, and performance are decisive differentiators. With robust traceability systems and decades of export experience, the company continues to strengthen its reputation as a reliable long-term partner to aquafeed manufacturers and feed distributors worldwide.
Aquaculture has emerged as one of the most strategically important food systems in the modern world. As global demand for high-quality protein rises, aquaculture continues to expand as the most efficient and scalable source of aquatic food production. From South-East Asian shrimp farms to Norwegian salmon cages and Indian freshwater fisheries, farmed seafood now accounts for the majority of fish consumed worldwide — and the sector shows no sign of slowing.
At the core of this global food system are marine-derived ingredients — particularly fishmeal, fish oil, and marine protein concentrates. These ingredients remain irreplaceable for optimal fish growth performance, improved feed conversion efficiency, immune system development, and omega-3 enrichment in farmed seafood.
Years of Experience
Aquaculture now provides over half of all seafood consumed globally, according to the FAO.
Global aquaculture production exceeds 120 million tonnes per year and continues to grow.
The sector has maintained consistent annual growth, driven by rising global protein demand.
Even as feed science evolves and plant-based alternatives grow in sophistication, marine ingredients continue to retain strategic importance in high-performance aquafeed formulations. No single alternative ingredient replicates the combination of nutritional density, amino acid completeness, digestibility, and functional bioactivity that marine ingredients deliver. For feed formulators, the value proposition is clear: higher nutrient density, better performance, and proven functional reliability across decades of commercial aquaculture production.
Fishmeal delivers a complete amino acid profile that no single plant-based ingredient can replicate, making it the benchmark protein source in high-performance aquafeeds. Its biological value consistently exceeds that of any terrestrial protein alternative.
EPA and DHA from fish oil are essential for neurological development, immune function, and the omega-3 enrichment of farmed seafood consumed by humans. These fatty acids cannot be efficiently synthesised by higher animals and are only available through marine sources.
Marine ingredients consistently improve feed conversion ratios, reducing the quantity of feed required per kilogram of live weight gain — a critical economic factor for producers operating at commercial scale in competitive global markets.
International aquafeed manufacturers, animal nutrition procurement managers, and feed distributors consistently identify five core reasons for selecting Raj Fishmeal as a preferred long-term supply partner. These attributes are not self-declared — they are verified annually by independent certification auditors and demonstrated through years of consistent commercial performance.
Steam-dried fishmeal. Batch-tested. Certified. Every shipment accompanied by a comprehensive certificate of analysis.
IFFO RS sourcing. IUU zero tolerance. FAO Code of Conduct aligned. Independently audited annually.
57+ years of continuous export. Multi-generational leadership providing institutional stability and consistency.
GMP+. HACCP. BIS. EU-ready supply chain with full traceability architecture from vessel to buyer.
The personnel operating at various steps of production are trained at regular basis for maintaining the quality. The operators separate the different types of meals to different lots on basis of fish type, quality of raw fish and quality of fishmeal based on the color, odour and appearance. Lots thus segregated are noted with samples sent to our own well equipped laboratory to cater the further/daily analysis of the products from the company.

Years of Experience
Raj Fishmeal and Oil Company maintains a robust and comprehensive international certification framework. These certifications are not marketing tools — they are independently audited, annually renewed, system-wide verifications of the company's commitment to feed safety, responsible sourcing, and quality management. They represent years of institutional investment in documentation, personnel training, infrastructure, and management systems that deliver tangible, measurable assurance to international buyers.
Dynamic entrepreneur, MLA, and Minister of State for Fisheries. Instrumental in modernizing fishmeal industry in coastal Karnataka.
MBA from Manipal University. Led operational turnaround, implementing comprehensive training programs and quality upgrades.
BBA & LLB student at Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Bringing fresh perspectives and intellectual rigor to the management team.
Together, these four certifications provide international buyers with a comprehensive, independently verified assurance framework covering feed safety, responsible sourcing, hazard control, and national quality compliance. No other combination of certifications delivers broader coverage for buyers operating across multiple regulatory environments simultaneously.
Raj Fishmeal and Oil Company operates through three core product pillars that together serve the full spectrum of marine nutrition applications 4 from high-performance aquafeeds to nutraceutical formulations. Each product is produced with the same commitment to quality, traceability, and responsible sourcing that defines the company's operational philosophy.
The flagship product. A high-density marine protein concentrate delivering 603 62% protein with a complete amino acid profile, used in aquaculture, poultry, and livestock feeds worldwide.
A concentrated source of EPA and DHA long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, essential for aquafeed performance, pharmaceutical applications, and nutraceutical formulations.
A bioactive liquid ingredient recovered during processing, rich in free amino acids, peptides, and growth factors. Increasingly recognised as a functional ingredient rather than a by product.
Shrimp, marine fish, and freshwater species feed manufacturers across Asia and Europe.
Broiler and layer feed manufacturers seeking high digestibility marine protein sources.
Swine and cattle feed formulations requiring complete amino acid supplementation.
